Bianca Webb

Sensei Bianca began her karate journey in 1989 at just seven years old. Her dedication and natural ability quickly set her apart, and by the age of 16 she had achieved her 1st Dan Black Belt. She trained at her home dojo, the Pinetown JKA Karate Institute in South Africa, under the guidance of Sensei Karin Prinsloo and Sensei Caron Harris, where strong foundations in traditional JKA karate were instilled from an early age.

Her commitment to continuous improvement has seen her progress steadily through the ranks, culminating in the achievement of her 5th Dan (JKA) in 2024. This milestone was earned under the strict and highly respected instruction of Sensei Adel Ismail and Sensei Ohta of JKA England.

From an early stage in her karate career, Sensei Bianca showed a strong passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge. She began assisting classes as a brown belt (3rd Kyu), went on to teach children’s classes upon achieving her 1st Dan, and later developed into instructing adults and senior grades. Teaching remains a central part of her karate journey, driven by a genuine desire to inspire and develop students of all ages and abilities.

Alongside her teaching career, Sensei Bianca has enjoyed an outstanding competition record. She achieved early success at local tournaments before progressing to regional and national championships, ultimately representing both South Africa and England at international level. In 2024, she reached the pinnacle of competitive achievement by winning the title of JKA World Champion.

Born and trained extensively in South Africa, Sensei Bianca emigrated to the United Kingdom in 2003, where she has continued to grow as both a competitor and instructor. In 2016, she founded her own dojo, Kazokudai Karate, creating a supportive yet disciplined environment rooted in traditional JKA values. She continues to compete for JKA England while passing on her extensive experience to the next generation of karateka. In addition, Sensei Bianca proudly serves as the regional representative for the North, supporting the development and growth of JKA karate within the region.

Sensei Bianca is fully insured, holds an advanced DBS check, and is first aid trained. She is also internationally qualified as a B Instructor, B Judge, and C Examiner, reflecting her professionalism, expertise, and commitment to the highest standards within karate.
