The art of karate provides an excellent full-body workout while helping you to master self-defence, proving to be the ideal community for like-minded ladies. It also serves to develop self-confidence. Simply knowing that you can defend yourself against an attacker raises your confidence, karate is also an excellent activity for stress relief.
Karate training allows every student to go at their own pace. This means the fittest of people can find it to be an excellent workout, while those who have not exercised in years may stay well within their comfort zone.
Our ladies only program doesn’t not just help you reach your body goals, it helps you in life outside of the class. Our aim for our female members is to leave each session feeling stronger and braver!
We have found that by training in a female only environment our ladies are more relaxed and find the class environment to be more welcoming. So it doesn’t matter what your physical ability is, we aim to help you realise your full potential.
All Instructors and students wear the traditional all white uniform which is known as a Gi and the relevant coloured belt.
For new beginners that do not have a Gi (Karate Uniform), we suggest to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, so normal sports gear is suggested, but please refrain from wearing items which have obscenities or any other inappropriate words or slogans.
Not for participating in your Karate class, but please be sure to turn up and leave in a pair!
